This includes the quality of the photos, as well as the photographer's willingness to share location information, directions, and tips on good photo spots. We appreciate authenticity and prefer photos that are not heavily edited or altered. While we understand that some photographers may have impressive, aesthetically enhanced photos, they may not be a good fit for our platform. If you are not selected to post photos on Photomoth, it does not mean that your photos are not great; it simply means that it does not align with the style or type of photos that we are looking for on our platform. At Photomoth, we are dedicated to showcasing amazing locations and views that will inspire others to visit them one day. We prefer photos that are processed in a natural way and do not accept heavily edited or altered photos, with long exposure photos being the exception. We love to feature landscape and travel photos that capture the beauty and splendor of the world. In order to ensure that our platform is suitable for all audiences, we do not accept photos with inappropriate content, such as graffiti or depictions of bad behavior, or photos that show recognizable faces. Our members can use our flagging tool to report any inappropriate photos, helping us to maintain a safe and supportive community.

We want our photos to be the kind that people would love to purchase and display in their living room. If you're unsure if a photo is a good fit for Photomoth, ask yourself "Would someone want to print and hang this photo in their living room?" If the answer is yes, it could be a great fit for our platform. While we do appreciate creative shots like macro photos of raindrops, they may not be the best fit for Photomoth. We hope this helps and we look forward to seeing all the amazing photos you have to share!

We take the protection of your work very seriously and have implemented measures such as adding a watermark with your name and disabling right-clicking to prevent downloading. While we do our best to prevent unwanted behavior on the platform, it's important to note that there are limits to what can be done when sharing photos and content online. As the owner of your photos, you retain the rights to them and are the sole individual who can set up the option to sell prints when it becomes available.

On the Free plan, users are granted 5GB of storage and 7 photo uploads per week thereafter. The Pro plan, available on a monthly or annual basis, includes unlimited storage and additional features. However, unlimited storage on Pro plans is subject to fair use policy. Any behavior that is deemed abusive will be considered a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in account termination.

Photomoth is a platform with many possibilities for photographers and travelers. In addition to posting photos, we offer a search tool to help you find amazing photos from locations around the globe, complete with location information and insights from the photographers. Best of all, it's completely free to browse and connect with other passionate photographers and bloggers, discover incredible photography, and read captivating travel stories.

 

Get inspired by our curated galleries, or create your own collection of favorite photos with our Collection tool. These collections can serve as personal favorites to reference later, or inspiration for your next adventure. If you want to share your own travel stories, you can even start your own blog on Photomoth. Additionally, you can show your support for fellow members by sending them Support Stickers as a shoutout to let them know you appreciate their work.

In the future, we hope to offer new features that allow photographers and bloggers to show support for each other through monetary means. Photographers will also be able to sell fine art prints of their photos and create and sell photo tours to share their knowledge and expertise. While these features are not yet available, we are working diligently to bring them to you as soon as possible.
